My husband and I came last night for a new date night place! We walked in and the atmosphere is very cute and the staff was very friendly! I went in with the soul purpose of getting the stuffed French toast. However when we got there, we were informed that breakfast is not served after 3pm on Friday’s, which we were both unaware of as the menu states breakfast served all day. But that’s okay, I ended up getting the peanut butter and jelly and a side of macaroni salad and my husband got the French onion burger and macaroni salad. We decided to eat outside because it’s so cute out there and was really nice out! Food came out about 20 minutes later which we thought was very quick. My peanut butter and jelly was delicious and tasted so fresh! My husband really enjoyed his French onion burger as well and we LOVED the macaroni salad! We decided to come back this morning so I could get the French toast and my husband last minute decided he wanted the RED SEC! I walked in and one of the staff members recognized me from the day before! We also each got a latte and they were amazing!! I had pumpkin Friday night and did the maple butterscotch today and my husband did the vanilla. We loved that while there was some flavor to the latte it wasn’t overpowering and we could still taste the coffee! We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals this morning and will absolutely be coming back for more coffee and meals! This is a very sweet locally owned shop, who remembers you when you walk in! It appears very family friendly and we are grateful to live pretty close to this little gem! My only complaint is that they aren’t open at 6am for me to get my coffee on the way to work each morning. Lol
I have stopped here for lunch or dinner 3 times recently as the food is amazing and the staff great. if you are looking for a smaller portion check this place out. I have tried the stuffed mushroom, Shepards pie and a burger and all were fantastic. For a side I had the sweet potato casserole and it was ok, not my favorite as I found the potatoes to be slightly undercooked for my liking. Other than that every thing was amazing. The stuffed mushroom with balsamic reduction probably my favorite. Prices are really good too. The dining tables are old window with mason jars to drink from adding to the uniqueness. Will be back really soon.
Dynamite French Toast! Handcrafted coffee & expresso. A MUST VISIT hidden jewel in the West Mobile area. Clean and revitalizing atmosphere coupled with scratch made organic food options. Definitely has upper echelon service without the price.
REDBAR IS THE BEST BURGER AND COFFEE IN TOWN!!! 2 patties not enough? Get four like I do! I am never disappointed when I eat here, but I find myself saying “should’ve gone to RedBar” when trying a burger elsewhere. Also, if you are particular about your sauces they pass the test here! *Edit: I forgot to mention the grits!!! So creamy and delicious. Get the dubliner cheese added for a bold flavor.
I like being able to choose from responsible ingredients. They have gluten free options and dairy free options! Try the vanilla iced latte and the spinach feta omelet. One problem, once you try RedBar coffee...other coffee tastes like garbage. Be prepared to be spoiled.
Went there for gathering in a morning. Their omelet is different but actually really good. But their grits ? Wow. Super delicious very buttery and garlicky!!
The guy behind the counter made one of the best mochas I’ve ever had. I truly wish I would have ordered a larger size.
Megan was wonderful! The atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was quick and the food turned out amazing. I'd definitely come back again. I forgot to grab a picture of the food before I ate it, it was so delicious. Not to mention the coffee was absolutely fantastic.
